Japan Premiere of 6 Models
The new second-generation Tiguan is essentially a brand new model, as it is the first SUV designed and produced with the latest modular kit MQB, offering even more rugged and high quality features throughout. More spacious cabin space is complemented by a luggage space of 615L (+145L). Also on display is the Tiguan GTE Concept, powered by the latest plug-in hybrid system. The Golf Touran is also reborn based on the MQB. Its sharp and sporty styling, class-leading safety, and more spacious and comfortable interior lend itself not only to use by families but also for enjoying a life with hobbies.
Diverse model range
The “GTE” is plug-in hybrid by Volkswagen that is an electric vehicle, sports car, and long tourer, all rolled into one. On exhibit is the Golf GTE that was launched in Japan in September, and the Passat GTE, making its debut here. Such sporty models as the Polo GTI, Golf GTI, and Golf R are a manifestation of what Volkswagen is all about, driving pleasure. Also making the first appearance in Japan is the long-awaited 4WD variation of the Passat, the Passat Alltrack.
Special exhibit of WRC machine
Volkswagen captured triple crown in the World Rally Championship (WRC) for the third consecutive year (manufacturer champion, driver champion, and co-driver champion).

At the 44th Tokyo Moto Show, Porsche will not be celebrating just one world premiere but three models: 911 Carrera 4S, 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet and one more. This is the first time ever Porsche holds world premiere in Japan.
Other than 911 GT3RS and Cayman GT4, there will be also 911 GT3 Cup, which is used at one make series, Porsche Carrera Cup Japan. With these, you can see how our production cars are close to racing cars. The DNA of Porsche Motrsport is in every Porsche product.
In Le Mans 24 hour this year, Porsche got 17th overall victory, which broke own-record as the most winning manufacturer, with 9191 Hybrid. There will be two plug-in hybrid models, Panamera S E-Hybrid and Cayenne S E-Hybrid, in the stand. Those three models have one thing in common, the most advanced Porsche Hybrid technology in their hearts.
Porsche’s philosophy “Porsche Intelligent Performance” is within two door sport cars and four door sport cars. All of nine exhibited cars at Tokyo Motor Show have traits of typical Porsche, both high performance and high efficiency.

A total of 14 models will be on display at the Mazda stand, including a new sports car concept model as the world premiere, the crossover concept Mazda KOERU making its first appearance in Japan, two racing-spec Mazda Roadsters (known as Mazda MX-5 outside Japan) and the Cosmo Sport (110S outside Japan), first introduced in 1967.
In line with the company's theme for the Tokyo Motor Show this year, "Accelerate toward our dreams," Mazda will make an appeal for the brand's unique approach to driving pleasure. In addition to two concept models, the full -lineup of Mazda's new-generation models featuring SKYACTIV Technologies and KODO-Soul of Motion design will be showcased. A motor sports exhibit will feature racing-spec Roadsters and the Cosmo Sport will compliment a heritage display showing Mazda's history of convention-defying engineering.
