HONDA

Booth No.EP02/EM01

Honda Project 2&4 powered by RC213V
A mobility maker producing both motorcycles and automobiles, Honda offers unique value. Needing no cabin and sporting a chiseled body, this vehicle features a street spec version of the V4 engine that has powered the RC213V racing motorcycle to two consecutive winning seasons in the MotoGP World Championship. The minimalist design makes the frame and mechanical system visible, while the floating seat allows the driver to feel the road. By combining the openness of a motorcycle with the dynamic performance of an automobile, this vehicle provides a uniquely up-close and personal driving experience.
NSX
The all-new NSX is an important milestone in Honda’s unending pursuit of driving pleasure. While carrying on the DNA of the first-generation NSX, the new model features an even more lightweight body, a new inline V6 twin turbo engine in a midship layout and the three-motor SPORT HYBRID SH-AWD® (Super Handling All-Wheel Drive) powertrain, which combines amazing driving with outstanding environmental performance. The engine teams up with a 9-speed Dual Clutch Transmission that incorporates a highly efficient electric motor, and each of the front wheels has its own independent motor. Using advanced torque vectoring, the SPORT HYBRID SH-AWD® distributes drive power freely to the four wheels, providing a revolutionary driving-on-rails feel at a wide range of speeds.
CIVIC TYPE R
The goals: To produce the fastest front-wheel-drive production automobile. To polish the performance fundamentals of an automobile―moving, turning and braking―to an unsurpassed brilliance and offer a driving feel like none other, both on the circuit and on the road. These goals are fulfilled in the all-new Civic Type R. The exterior design combines sports car appeal with aerodynamic performance. Under the hood, a new “2.0 L VTEC Turbo engine” combines Honda’s original VTEC direct injection technology with turbocharging to deliver maximum output of 228 kW (310 PS) and maximum torque of 400 N•m (40.8 kgf•m)―the highest engine performance specifications in Civic Type R history. A 6-speed manual transmission brings out the best performance from this mighty powerplant.

In pure electric drive mode, the car can travel up to 54km. (all figures are estimated values for reference, photo:concept model)
Audi A4 / A4 Avant
The latest generation of a premium mid-size car with world-wide success, the new Audi A4 and A4 Avant will become available in two body configurations, Sedan and Avant, as with the preceding models. The new body, styled with Audi’s traditional sporty elegance, achieves a top-of-class Cd value of 0.23 (Sedan). Two drive systems are offered, FWD (front-wheel-drive) and quattro full-time 4WD. Both versions are powered by drastically revised 2.0-liter TFSI engine in two power levels; 140kW (190PS) and 185kW (252PS). Compared with 2.0 TFSI of the previous A4 models, the 140kW (190PS) unit, featuring an innovative combustion system, has improved fuel economy greatly, while the 185kW (252PS) counter-part became much more powerful. Audi Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro
The Audi Q7 is a premium SUV with spacious and versatile interior accommodating up to 7 people. The original Q7 debuted in 2005 and since has enjoyed popularity as a sporty and stylish fore-runner in the luxury SUV segment. The new, second-generation Audi Q7, developed with a special focus on weight-reduction, has reduced body weight by more than 300kg compared with the previous model. The Audi Q7 e-tron 2.0 TFSI quattro is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version of the new Q7, and employs, for the first time as a PHEV, quattro full-time 4WD system. Featuring lithium-ion battery system rechargeable from out-side, the SUV can travel up to about 50km in pure electric mode. Total range is approximately 1,000 kilometers. The combination of the 2.0 TFSI engine and electric motor develops a system power and torque of 270kW(367PS)and 700Nm, enabling the Q7 e-tron to accelerate 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 220km/h. (All figures are estimated values for reference, photo:EU specification)
Audi R8 V10 plus
The fastest and most dynamic Audi road-car ever, the all-new Audi R8 represents the second generation of the brand’s high-end sport car, whose original model debuted in 2006. Succeeding major technical features of the original series, such as mid-engine layout, ultra-light-weight body with ASF (Audi Space Frame), naturally-aspirated V10 engine, and quattro full-time 4WD system, the R8 has evolved dramatically in all respects. The new body, designed with ASF technology, features, in addition to aluminum as employed extensively in the previous R8, carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) in the major part of the occupant cell and has further reduced weight while improving rigidity. The revised 5.2 FSI engine develops as much power as 449kW (610PS) and enables the new Audi R8 (V10 plus) to accelerate from stand-still to 100km/h in just 3.2 seconds and up to the highest-ever maximum speed of 330km/h. (all figures are of European versions, photo:EU specification)
Audi S8 plus
The new Audi S8 plus is a super sport sedan with a top-level engine performance in the premium saloon segment. Its all-aluminum body, developed on the base of ASF technology, is lighter than that of any rival, with a weight of mere 231kg. The maximum output of the 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo TFSI engine has been boosted by 65kW (85PS) over standard S8 up to 445kW (605PS), and its maximum torque of 700Nm can be raised up to 750Nm for a short time in over-boost mode. The Audi S8 plus can accelerate from stand-still to 100km/h in just 3.8 seconds, and its governed top speed of 250 km/h can optionally be increased to 305 km/h. (all figures are of European versions, photo:EU specification)

It averages just 6.9 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers. The car’s exterior and interior are customized; special features include Single Frame Grille, bumpers, door sills, wheels in the exterior and seats, door trims, steering wheel, decorative panels on the console in the interior. Moreover, matrix LED headlights, advanced digital instrument cluster “Audi virtual cockpit”, and active damper control system “Audi magnetic ride” are offered as standard.
