Camshaft in closed cam carrier (C³)
MAHLE camshafts can be assembled into a cam carrier providing a one-piece module ready for assembly on the engine; No grinding of camshaft necessary after assembly (MAHLE process advantage)
Cylinder head cover
Cylinder head cover with integrated pressure regulation (PCV valve), interface for valve train actuator, high pressure pump, and cam angle sensors; Hot-gas-welding process to reduce residual dirt
Air cleaner module
Air cleaner module with integrated engine cover for a vehicle platform
Oil filter module
Oil filter module in hybrid design (aluminum/plastic)
Transmission oil cooler
Oil cooler module with integrated thermostatic valve
EGR cooler
Exhaust gas cooler in tube-bundle design with plastic housing; Exhaust gas cooler with die casted housing
Compressor
MAHLE Mini Variable Displacement Compressor (MVC) offers continuously variable operation over a wide range of operating conditions; The MAHLE variable mechanism is proven to be robust
Fragrance diffuser system
Personalized and high quality scenting of the cabin air; The cartridge contains a solid carrier for the liquid fragrance oil which is released by a controlled airstream; The integrated blower and intelligently controlled doors create a pulsed fragrance discharge

BH-03
Reference model
Electricity-generating tire
BH-03
BH-03 electricity-generating tire presents a novel idea of tire generating electricity itself. The tire can generate electricity through converting the pressure on the tire, deformation and the heat produced on the tire into electricity, which can be supplied to the battery on hybrid or electric vehicles and other electronic devices. This new concept is our proposal for the future mobility in anticipation of the increasing number of hybrid cars, popularization of electric vehicles and ultimately the automated driving of vehicles.
Note: This product is conceptual and not scheduled to be launched onto the market yet.
Triple Tube
Reference model
Morphing tire
TripleTube
TripleTube morphing tire presents a novel concept of tire transforming its own shape according to the condition of road surfaces.
The tire provides optimal performance and various functions for drivers according to the road surface conditions. The air pressure of the three embedded air chambers (tubes) can be adjusted indivisually to change the shape of the tire.
① Eco/safety position
② Sporty/cornering position
③ Wet safety position
Sustainable material is used for the compound in the aim of environmental conservation.
Note: This product is conceptual and not scheduled to be launched onto the market yet.

Robert Bosch GmbH

Booth No.E5204

Automated mobility
Innovative driver assistance systems, partially and highly automated functions for more safety and comfort.
Sensors and components that are essential to realize the fully automated driving in the future will be introduced (or presented) in a model car as a total system.
Diesel Engine Management system
Piezo injectors with its increased injection pressure up to 2,700 bar, “Needle Closing Control” realizing improved injection accuracy, and “Digital Rate Shaping” to control combustion rate through a multi stage fuel injection. These new technologies result to significant reduction on combustion noise and fuel consumption.
Bosch’s diesel management system including from engine combustion to exhaust gas treatment is designed to meet more stringent emissions standards in the future. Bosch introduces this overall system with engine model and animations.

Variable Valve Timing System (for Motorcycles)
A small oil-pressure actuator and a small oil control valve which are oriented to motorcycles control the valve timing in the following sequence: i) shifting the phase of the cam shaft, and ii) thereby, causing a phase difference between the cam shaft and the crank shaft.
Solenoid for Variable Valve System (VVA)
A special actuator for controlling Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) of small motorcycles.
